LAURENCE MILLER and the LOVE MANIACS was developed to perform accessible music (both originals and covers) in order to gig easily and play in front of larger crowds. All bandmates were professional, seasoned musicians, having played in many bands themselves over the years.

The Love Maniacs began playing out in the Detroit Metro area in fall of 2017. Early 2018 we produced a 7-song music video at Ann Arbor’s CTN studio and continued gigging wherever possible, rehearsing regularly.

We finally recorded this full length 15 song CD at Ann Arbor’s Big Sky Records – January 2020. Pinching pennies allowed us only 3 hours to record with vocals and most guitar tracks as scratch reference only. Several overdubs were needed to finish at home over the course of the pandemic with hours of mixing through 2021. Rough mixes were shared via email with fellow bandmates for their input -- and that was that.
