This production is a considerable departure from all the other CD comps on FarFetched Records to date. No vocals or guitars were used for one, and most of the pieces are traditional, not original.

Laurence's first love in life was the bagpipe. When asking his mother if he could learn how to play, she told him they were too expensive and too difficult. In 1998 Laurence convinced her otherwise by teaching himself how to play the accordion doing his utmost best to mimic the sound of a bagpipe "trilling" the notes at the appropriate time.

Basic tracks were recorded/mixed at Midvale Music 2012 thru 2016. The accordions themselves were not recorded until January 2017.
