Though the thought of any label deal or distribution had long evaporated by this time in my life, I kept writing and recording my songs anyway. Except for a couple here, the vast majority of this material could be best described as straight forward Alternative Rock – whatever that is.

I continued writing along the lines of boy-meets-girl, taken from personal experience. For what it’s worth, AFTERMATH may be one of my most easily digestible releases to date. Not my conscious intention.

These songs were written and recorded during the first 5 years of my learning to live sober & clean. Songwriting (if not understandably) became relatively straight-forward by comparison in these early daze of recovery.

Having said that, the wilder-creative-energy I always had was spent closely orchestrating my new right brain child "Larynx Zillion’s Novelty Shop". Several flexies were financed with excellent reviews but with no local scene to speak of The Shop was soon well on it’s way into obscurity.
